Selection Process
The SSC CGL 2026 selection consists of the following computer-based evaluation stages:
- Tier-I Examination: Computer Based Test (Objective Multiple Choice Type) consisting of 4 sections (Reasoning, GK, Maths, English). It is qualifying in nature.
- Tier-II Examination: Computer Based Test (Objective & Data Entry Speed Test). Final merit list is prepared based on Tier-II performance.
- Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination: Conducted by the respective allotted departments.
How to Fill SSC CGL Online Form 2026
- Step 1: Visit the new official website of Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in.
- Step 2: Complete your One Time Registration (OTR) if you have not registered on the new portal yet. Fill in your basic identity details and generate your Registration ID and Password.
- Step 3: Log in using your OTR credentials and go to the “Live Applications” tab on your candidate dashboard.
